Bieber Hospitalized for Swollen Testicle

Justin Bieber’s got his eyes on his balls.
The “Sorry” singer checked into Long Island’s Northwell Health this May for what he believed to be testicular torsion, triggering a bizarre chain of events that led to the firing of a hospital employee. While the 23-year-old was ultimately diagnosed and treated for a swollen testicle, his hospitalization became the center for a wrongful termination lawsuit when the fired staffer was accused of improperly handling the Canadian crooner’s health documents.

Justin made an emergency run to Northwell Health in Long Island New York, and a staffer named Kelly Lombardo found out about it. The hospital claims Lombardo illegally accessed Justin’s medical file in one of the computers … this after hearing rumors Justin had been admitted for an STD.
According to the lawsuit, the hospital fired Lombardo for being “an immoral employee” who violated Bieber’s privacy rights.

Lombardo has just filed a wrongful termination lawsuit, claiming she never accessed Justin’s file and simply heard from others he was there for treatment of an STD.

Tank farm explodes in Lagos

A wild fire yesterday razed an oil tank farm belonging to Stallionaire Oil at Ijegun, Satellite town, Lagos State. The fire, which went almost out of control, caused panic among residents of Satellite Town and Ojo area. Thankfully, no human life was lost. The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) officials were able to contain the inferno by deploying state of the art emergency equipment. Spokesman of the agency, Adebayo Kehinde, who spoke with newsmen at the scene, said there was no need for panic as the agency had put adequate measures in place to ensure that the fire does not escalate.
