The Kardashian-West family just can’t catch a break — at least when it comes to people trying to steal their stuff. After suffering a harrowing multi-million dollar violent robbery in Paris last year, Kim Kardashian has again become the target of criminals who wanted to make a huge pay off. However, these particular criminals weren’t quite as smart or brazen as her past attackers. They just wanted to check out what she was hiding in the driveway.

Kim K and Kanye West got their cars burglarized at their Bel Air home, and they weren’t the only targets.

Victims of civil war to be paid N88bn by FG

The Federal Government has agreed to pay N88 billion as compensation to victims of the Civil War in some affected states in the country. This was the outcome of the consent judgment delivered by the ECOWAS Court of Justice in a case of negligence by the Federal Government to remove remnants of landmines and explosives from the civil war. A consent judgment is issued when two parties agree to a settlement to end a lawsuit; the parties write up an agreement for the judge to sign. The suit, filed by Mr Vincent Agu and 19 others against the Federal Government in 2012, had claimed that the government had failed to remove remnants of landmines and explosives since the end of the civil war in 1970. They claimed that the lethal explosives had maimed, killed and destroyed innocent lives in their various communities. Power Uti the Nigerian wrestling champion arrested over wife’s death

The Police in Lagos have reportedly arrested Nigerian wrestling champion, Power Uti, over the controversial death of his wife, Toyin. Toyin was said to have died in their Ilupeju, Lagos home on Monday morning with the wrestling champion discovering her body. However, instead of taking her to the hospital, Power Uti was alleged to have gone to a church in search of spiritual help. Police Public Relations Officer, Famous Cole, reportedly confirmed that Power Uti was arrested over the incident and detained at the Ilupeju Police station, adding that he would be transferred to the Criminal Investigative Department, Panti in Lagos on Thursday. Toyin, 38, until her demise, was a mother of four children who are under the ages of nine. The two were married for 10 years. Her body had been deposited at the Isolo general hospital, while her four children are with the mother.
