SERIOUSLY, The Rock Is Like, Considering A Run For President — Here's What He Said At L.A. Comic Con


This might not be just a joke or a way to tease any of his thousand upcoming projects… Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson sounds more and more serious about running for President in 2020 as time goes on!!

He was out at Stan Lee's Los Angeles Comic Con on Saturday afternoon when, during a Q&A panel, an audience member asked him point blank if he was going to run for the White House in a few years.

And remember — this is the same actor who just a few months ago said it was a "real possibility" that he would make a bid as a potential candidate… so all ears perked up at the question.
And based on how Johnson answered, too? Well… let's just say people are taking notice (below):
"I think 'The People's President' has a really nice ring to that. I'll just say that."

Johnson had been in El Lay for the ComicCon panel to promote Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, and while there he revealed some new behind-the-scenes footage from the flick, too… but all attention is going towards his cryptic comments about running for President.

ISIS Attacks the Iraqi Embassy in Kabul

Afghan officials say the militants were killed after a four-hour battle. Afghan official say they killed three militants who attacked the Iraqi Embassy in Kabul Monday, an operation that highlights the precarious security situation in the Afghan capital 16 years after the U.S.-led invasion. ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack in which a suicide bomber detonated a device outside the entrance to the embassy. Three militants then entered the compound and engaged in a four-hour gun battle, Afghan officials said, before the militants were killed. The Afghan Interior Ministry  said  one policeman was wounded in the attack. “No embassy staff members were hurt in the attack,” the ministry said in a statement. “The security forces rescued the ambassador, deputy ambassador and other staff and took them to a safe place.” The militant operation was the latest high-profile attack in the Afghan capital this year. Bayern Munich have sacked coach Carlo Ancelotti in the wake of their Champions League defeat at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain, the club announced on Thursday. “FC Bayern Munich have parted company with head coach Carlo Ancelotti as a result of internal discussions following the 3-0 defeat in the Champions League group stage match at Paris Saint-Germain,” Bayern said in a statement on their website. Former player Willy Sagnol, the ex-France international who had been serving as an assistant to Ancelotti, has been named interim coach. The 40-year-old has previously coached Bordeaux in his homeland. But Bayern have also parted company with four Italian members of Ancelotti’s backroom staff, including his son Davide. Pressure had already been building on Ancelotti, 58, with Bayern enduring an inconsistent start to the season before losing 3-0 to PSG in the French capital on Wednesday.
