Worker whose manhood was severed in industrial accident undergoes eight-hour surgery
Surgeons at Southmead Hospital have been battling to save a man’s life after his penis was severed in a freak industrial accident. The man is understood to still be under heavy sedation days after the incident, which happened on Monday afternoon. The man, who has not been named, underwent an eight-hour operation at the Bristol Hospital on Monday, according to a family member. And a family member has also claimed his penis was understood to be severed by some sort of saw. Ambulance staff were called to a company in the village of Moreton Valence, near Stonehouse in Gloucestershire, at around 3.48pm to a man with a serious groin injury.The man, who is believed to be from Gloucester, remains in a serious condition in hospital following the operation.
