Wedding Date Set - Prince Harry and Meghan Markle


The countdown is on!
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who got engaged this December after more than a year of dating, have set their sights on the third weekend of May for their royal wedding.

The palace announced Friday the couple will do the damn thing on May 19. That’s one week earlier than a British tabloid had reported it would be, and means they will NOT tie the knot on a 3-day weekend. Bummer for their guests.

The Police in Lagos have reportedly arrested Nigerian wrestling champion, Power Uti, over the controversial death of his wife, Toyin. Toyin was said to have died in their Ilupeju, Lagos home on Monday morning with the wrestling champion discovering her body. However, instead of taking her to the hospital, Power Uti was alleged to have gone to a church in search of spiritual help. Police Public Relations Officer, Famous Cole, reportedly confirmed that Power Uti was arrested over the incident and detained at the Ilupeju Police station, adding that he would be transferred to the Criminal Investigative Department, Panti in Lagos on Thursday. Toyin, 38, until her demise, was a mother of four children who are under the ages of nine. The two were married for 10 years. Her body had been deposited at the Isolo general hospital, while her four children are with the mother.

Mail photos The friend of a top university student who jumped to her death from the Clifton Suspension Bridge discussed ways to kill themselves, an inquest heard on Friday. “Extremely bright” Lara Nosiru, 23, had taken a large number of sleeping tablets and some LSD when she jumped off Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol, the coroner has concluded. She was a final year student of neuroscience at the Bristol University when the incident happened, reports say. She went there with fellow Bristol University student, Kasumi Kishi, who told police she had hoped to convince her not to kill herself.  Two days later, Ms Kishi told friends over a pizza how she and Ms Nosiru had discussed suicide methods and killing themselves together.
